Individual Therapy

Individual (ages 12 – 100)

Ongoing stress, overwhelm or other situations that cause anxiety, anger, grief are good reasons to seek individual therapy. An experienced and objective listener can help individuals deal with difficult life changes, transitions, or troubling emotions.

Working with an experienced professional offers you dedicated time to address the challenges you face, learn new information and ways to cope more effectively to better love yourself and those around you. Getting the help you need is not selfish, it is good self-care.

Child/Adolescent (ages 4 – 21)

Children and adolescents are learning and growing. They enter and leave many life phases as they develop physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If your child or teen seems to be withdrawing, is having difficulty adjusting to changes in routines, family stress or friend concerns, it may be helpful to get some outside support.

Therapy can be a place for your child to freely share what is on their minds without worrying about parental input. It is a place to help your child safely manage and express their emotions, learn new coping skills, and practice ways to communicate more effectively.

Sometimes working with children and adolescents is best served by working solely with the parents. We strive to help parents see what a child’s “misbehavior” is communicating and ways to respond that foster mutual respect and cultivate better family interactions.
